Tanacetum parthenium Feverfew has short, stubby rays and a relatively large disk. In addition the leaves are divided into broad leaflets.

Identification: Flowers daisylike with numerous white rays and a large, yellow disk. Leaves heavily dissected and with a disagreeable odor and bad taste. Primary leaflets with multiple projections, not threadlike. Plant 8 to 20 inches in height. Distribution: Throughout most North America. Habitat: Mayweed is a weed growing in fields, roadsides, and other disturbed sites. Flowering period: June to October. |
